Planned projects in U.S.-Canada waters would increase oil spill risks

A study has revealed that the potential for oil spills in the Haro Strait-Boundary Pass passage in U.S. and Canadian waters increases by 4.75 times because of an expected increase in ship traffic from three planned projects, the Vancouver Sun reports.
