Dashwood awaits Boden’s 2013 filings with interest.

Mark's price isn't right for M&S move
Much chatter around the retail dining tables about Waitrose boss Mark Price’s elevation to deputy chairman of the grocer’s parent company, John Lewis, last summer.
Gossip merchants claim the promotion came after channels of discussion had opened up about Price taking M&S chief Marc Bolland’s place, should that vacancy ever arise.
For now, it seems it’s merely speculative talk.
Bolland, despite M&S’s disappointing Christmas sales, still has the confidence of investors and the board. Price, for his part, appears to be happy to stay put.
Given the John Lewis Partnership’s continued strong profits, as less fortunate retailers swim in a “sea of red” , who can blame him?

What did Mark Zuckerberg, the billionaire Facebook founder, give friends for Christmas?
Socks, reports the Wall Street Journal – but, as a personal touch, the hosiery had been hand-stitched with a likeness of Zuckerberg’s prized German shepherd dog, which goes by the name of Beast.
Barking mad, says Dashwood.
Then again, this is the rather individual entrepreneur who keeps his glass meeting room, known as the “aquarium”, at a frugal 20 degrees Celsius to keep staff “alert”.
