Following the news that General Motors is recalling a further 2.4m vehicles in the US , it was announced on Thursday that 238,360 vehicles in Brazil are to also be returned.
The move takes the number of vehicles GM has recalled so far this year to more than 15m as the car maker continues to address safety concerns in the wake of criticism.
On Tuesday, the company announced four separate recall actions for various models dating back to 2005. GM said there have been no fatalities associated with the recalls.
