Following the news that AstraZeneca rejected Pfizer's final £55-per-share offer , Bloomberg spoke to AstraZeneca chairman, Leif Johansson.
Johansson said: "this is the end of the road at this engagement and certainly at these terms...as we stand right now this is the last and final offer from Pfizer...and we have rejected it".
When pressed whether AstraZeneca's rejection was unanimous, Johansson declined to answer.
