Similar to Flappy Bird, which was downloaded more than 50m times, people playing Swing Copters have to tap the screen to make a man wearing a "propeller hat" move left and right. The hero must dodge giant hammers and navigate ledges as he flies upwards, with a point scored for every obstacle he avoids.
His first 2D side-scrolling game, in which the player must control a flying bird without hitting pipes, was released on May 24, 2013, and quickly became a hit. It became the most downloaded free game in the App Store by the end of January 2014.
A month later, Mr Nguyen pulled Flappy Bird from the online store, claiming its popularity had "ruined my simple life". He tweeted: "I'm sorry Flappy Bird users, 22 hours from now, I will take Flappy Bird down. I cannot take this anymore."

He reportedly received death threats, and several similar games were created in a bid to cash in on Flappy Bird's popularity. At one point in March, around a third of new apps uploaded to Apple's App Store were Flappy Bird clones.
Mr Nguyen released a new version , Flappy Birds Family , earlier this month exclusively on Android's app store.
