Brita is recalling about 242,500 children’s water bottles because of a possible laceration hazard. The company said on Tuesday that the lid of the bottles can break into pieces with sharp points. Brita has received 35 reports of lids breaking or cracking, but no injuries have been reported. The recalled bottles are six inches tall, hold 15 ounces and bear the likenesses of Dora the Explorer, Hello Kitty, SpongeBob Square Pants or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
