The Scorpion is a new tactical jet developed by Textron AirLand.
The price - $20m (approximately £12m) - is notably less than other military jets, and the company says they have identified an opening for an affordable airplane in the international market.
Construction was kept a secret to maintain a competitive advantage - but the question remains, will it sell?
