Some 200 uniquely British brands, all of which manufacture their products in the UK, are being showcased in London as part of a campaign to encourage people to ‘buy British’.
The Best of Britannia event, in its third year, exhibits collections from industries including fashion, art, cosmetics, and food and drink to buyers and consumers.
All of the exhibitors, from drinks brand Fever Tree to soft furnishings firm Penrose Products, make their products in Britain.
According to the bank’s statistics, two thirds of consumers in emerging markets would be more inclined to purchase a product carrying the Union Flag.
